RAWALPINDI: All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) has given strike call on June 12 for acceptance of their demands by the government.
According to media reports Additional Secretary General APCA Sardar Hanif has said observing strike and peaceful protest against non acceptance of their demands is their constitutional right.
He pointed out that central president Haji Irshad has given call for strike in consultation with APCA leaders from all the four provinces, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
He held that persistent apathy of the government towards pitiable financial plight of the lower grade employees, their indifferent attitude and showering of privileges on a specific class, galloping price hike has fomented embarrassment among the employees.
Therefore, we have pursued peaceful way to press our demands which is our constitutional right, he remarked.
