ATTOCK: The Provincial Minister for Revenue Col (R) Malik Anwar Khan surprise visited Ehsaas Kafalat Programme centres in Government Boys High school Pindi Gheb and Government High School Minawala in district attock on Monday.
Assistant Commissioner Haider Abbas, Assistant Director Benazir Income Support Programme and others were also present.
During the visits, he inspected the process to distribute the relief assistance. He was briefed about the distribution of the financial aid. He also interacted with the people present in the centres. They appreciated the government for announcing a big amount for them.
The Provincial Minister expressed his satisfaction with the distribution process.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister Revenue Anwar Khan said that Prime Minister Ehsaas Kafalat Programme will be the fairest program in the country’s history. He said that provision of financial aid under Ehsaas Kafalat Programme would be ensured on merit. He said that verification process for the financial aid was under way and there would be no compromise on transparency.
The Minister said Prime Minister Imran Khan was personally monitoring the process of Cash distribution. Ehsaas Cash Emergency Programme was reflection of Prime Minister feeling for the labour, working class and the poor segments of the society facing financial hardships owing to ongoing lockdown in the wake of spread of Corona Virus COVID-19.
Minister pledges payment under Ehsaas Kafalat Programme on merit. He said that the government is utilizing all its resources to protect vulnerable segments of society during the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Minister said that the best way to protest against the Coronavirus epidemic is to stay at home.
