Khar, (Parliament Times): Additional Deputy Commissioner General (ADCG) Bajaur’s Corona test came positive. On Saturday May 9, 2020 Deputy Commissioner Bajaur admitted in a press release that Mr. Zamin Khan Mohmand ADCG and Focal Person for COVID-19 has been infected with Corona virus. According to DC for test purposes blood samples of Mr.Mohmand was sent to National Institute of Health (NIH) where it was confirmed that he was infected with Corona virus, and is being quarantined. It is pertinent to mention that Mr. Mohmand was supervising the activities and measures for COVID-19 prevention in district Bajaur. Since March 29, 2020 first Corona confirmed case in tribal district Bajaur, total 395 blood samples have been tested so far, whereas tests of 60 persons have been recorded positive, 211 negatives, results of 124 is awaited,26 recovered and 3 died due to COVID-19 till now. ADCG Zamin Khan Mohmand is the first government official that has been infected from COVID-19 pandemic.
