ATTOCK: A briefing session regarding the responsibilities of the volunteers of Prime Minister’s Corona Relief Tiger Force activities was held on Wednesday at District Council Stadium.
Incharge District Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) Dr. Mian Muhammad Ashfaq welcomed all the Tigers Force members and briefed them about the importance of First aid and the volunteers about their initial responsibilities, duties in wake the spread of COVID-19. Assistant Commissioner Jannat Hussain, Assistant Deputy Commissioner finance Zagum Abbas and others officers attended the session.
Incharge District Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) Dr. Main Muhammad Ashfaq while briefing the volunteers said the biggest challenge faced by the whole country today is to protect people from the spread of Corona Virus, educating citizens to stay at home following precautionary measures including social distancing and making it a permanent feature of their daily routine life.
He said this was the first time that such a big number of young volunteers had offered their free of cost services to the government.
Rescue 1122 attock community Team Under the programme, Tiger Force members will be taught how to prevent and save lives through first aid training.
On the occasion Assistant Commissioner Jannat Hussain said the district government will fully support Tiger Force in completing their tasks and the volunteers would be included in all types of relief works being carried out in the district.
