    29 new positive cases reported in IOJK;

    Tally surge to 523 across the occupied State,

    MIRPUR (AJK):     In Indian held Jammu Kashmir, a total of 29 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), all from the Kashmir division, have been reported on Sunday thus taking the total number of positive cases in the entire occupied Jammu and Kashmir to 523, says a report reaching here Sunday from across the line of control.

    The report continued that on out of 523 positive cases, 380 are Active Positive, 137 have recovered and 06 have died.

    Furthermore, till date 66977 travellers and persons in contact with suspected cases have been enlisted for surveillance which include 6232 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 258 in Hospital Quarantine, 380 in hospital isolation and 10763 under home surveillance. Besides, 49338 persons have completed their surveillance period.

    The report further said that out of 13959 test results available, 13436 samples have tested as negative till April 26, 2020.

    The report said that the breakup represents districts from which the patients have been traced or are ordinarily residing.
