Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Rawalpindi Development Authority Chairman (RDA) Tariq Mehmood Murtaza has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is working to achieve the target of construction of 5 million houses.
RDA chief said this while speaking after the launch of the Clean & Green Pakistan campaign in CBR Town Phase 2 Thalia. President CBRECHS Altaf Ahmed Bhat, Secretary Saleem Khan, Deputy Director Ejaz Shah, Ch Khalil, Ikhlaq Masood Sindhu, Khalid Qureshi, Haji Farooq, Mushtaq Askari, Shakeel Shah, Farooq Shah, Ghulam Shabbir, Colonel Sherbaz Khan, Rasheed Khan, Colonel Imtiaz Khan, Engr Hammad Mir, Muhammad Khalid Qureshi, Engr Afzal, Engr Bilal and others are present on the occasion.
Praising CBR management for providing quality housing facilities to people he said, “CBR Housing Society is thriving under the leadership of Altaf Ahmed Bhat”. “Work on the Ring road project is going to starting soon without any further delay. It is Sunnah to do Plantation, while it is an obligation to preserve them”, he said.
Speaking on the occasion President CBR Housing Society Altaf Ahmed Bhat told the Chairman RDA that the CBR Society is actually a part of the RDA Scheme. CBR and Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) have an agreement after which 2% of the plots are allocated to RDA. Currently, almost 5300 kanals of land papers are submitted in the RDA for the provision of NOC. Whereas the 1400 Kanal LOP area NOC is issued by the RDA in 2010.
We are planning the future of this scheme on an area consisting of 10,000 kanals, and LOP for the said will be sooner submitted to RDA for NOC in which We have designed CBR Residences and Overseas Block.
Altaf Ahmed Bhat urged the RDA to play its role in clearing parks and various transits as per section 4, and Chairman RDA Tariq Mehmood Murtaza assured Bhat and CBR management.
Altaf Ahmed Bhat said that if the land is cleared through Section 4, we will provide the Rawalpindi Development Authority with a 200-foot full road infrastructure at our expense which will simultaneously run through the Ring Road Thalian Interchange and the Kashmir Highway.
President CBR Altaf Ahmed Bhat offered Chairman RDA Tariq Mehmood Murtaza that CBR society could play its role in fulfilling PM Imran Khan’s dream of 5000,000 houses. Bhat asked Chairman RDA to put up a proposal to the Prime Minister and assured him of providing complete documentation and Presentation.
Chairman Rawalpindi Development Authority Tariq Mehmood Murtaza while talking on the occasion said that, the spring of flowers, greenery, The Great Al Jabbar Mosque of Turkish Design, and the 200 feet main boulevard it seems that CBR TOWN’s Phase 2 will take the lead among all other housing societies.
Chairman RDA while appreciating the CBR Management said that, No doubt CBR Town is performing well under the leadership of Altaf Ahmed Bhat. Here 3 main projects are well progressed according to the vision of the Prime Minister, one of which is to work on the construction of 50 lakh houses, the second to work on the plantation and third Mini Dam.
He made sure that the RDA believes in solving the problems of Genuine Housing Societies. I am accustomed to completing work at a faster pace.
Chairman RDA asked to provide documentation and presentation and assured that he will present the offer of President CBR Altaf Ahmed Bhat for the construction of 5 million houses to the Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Chairman RDA further said that CBR has developed according to society standards. The secret of the success of the societies is that they fulfil the promises made to the members. Societies that provide larger green belts and cemeteries and roads are successful.
On this occasion, Project Director Colonel Sherbaz briefed Chairman RDA Tariq Mehmood Murtaza regarding the project. President CBR Altaf Bhat also provided further details about the project.
Incharge Beautification Masood Sindhu briefed Chairman RDA Tariq Murtaza about the floral varieties, which later praised.
