Muzaffarabad: Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir demanded Indian government to release all political prisoners of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir amid Corona Pandemic.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali has said that the people in IOK are already under lock down for the last 230 days.
He said that silence of International organizations on human rights violations in IOK has despondent the masses.
He reiterated that Indian armed forces killed, tortured and raped the innocent people in IOK, “atrocities of Indian armed forces are heart burning.”
Ghazali maintained that the masses in IOK suffer Indian armed forces brutalities in response of raising their voice for freedom.
Uzair lamented that the international human rights organisations are silent spectators on heinous war crimes of Indian armed forces in IOK.
He cautioned that after the declaration of corona virus as pandemic worldwide many prisoners have been released worlwide but people of IOK are still suffering political imprisonments, “lives of Kashmiri people from Srinagar to KanyaKumari are under threat” he added.
He demanded the release of all prisoners of IOK and demanded all international organizations including UN, WHO, security council, OIC to play their role pertaining this pandemic for the safety of human lives.
He reiterated that the resistance for freedom will continue until people of Jammu and Kashmir get their basic right of self-determination according to UN resolutions
