Muzaffarabad: Signature campaign against Modi Virus continued on 19th day in the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
A large number of people signed the papers here on Monday demanding UN to conduct Plebiscite in the state of Jammu and Kahsmir.
According to a press release issued by the Chairman (Uzair Ahmed Ghazali) and Vice Chairman (Usman Ali Hashim) Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, it was stated that self-determination signature campaign continued during the third week & thousands of Azad Jammu and Kashmir citizens signed the demand paper.
A camp was set in the middle of the capital (Gillani Chowk), representatives of Pasban-e-Hurriyat apprised the masses about the signature campaign and thousands of youngsters signed the papers.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali said that we have observed remarkable enthusiasm in public regarding this campaign, “UN promised us to conduct Plebiscite 70 years ago but still they didn’t fulfill it” he said.
“This signature campaign is sentiment of common citizens against Modi regime and we call it Modi virus affecting the lives of Kashmiri people” he added.
They demanded the Secretary General UN Antonio Gueterres to visit Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJ&K) and observe the human rights violations in IOJ&K.
He stated that Indian armed forces have usurped the freedom of more than 8 million innocent citizens in IOJ&K for the last 197 days.
UN have to complete its legal obligations in South Asia for humanity and stability of peace in the region.
Moreover, they demanded to conduct Plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir according to UN resolutions before long.
The signature campaign for self-determination started 19 days ago and the target is set to complete 1 lac signatures to raise the demand of Plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir.
