Rawalpindi (Parliament Times) (PR) Literary Arts and Culture Syndicate arranged a poetry recital in
collaboration with Punjab Council of the Arts, Rawalpindi to promote literary
activities in the area. The poetry recital was chaired by prominent poet Khalid
Iqbal Yasir. Wafa Chishti, Anjum Khalique and Qayyum Tahir were among chief
guests while Anwar Fitar, Dr Nasim Ansari, Dr Mah Jabeen and Nasim Sheikh
were guests of honor. The poets include Ali Ahmed Qamar, Irfan Ahmed, Dr Mnir
Tabish, Naveed Malik and other receited their poetry. Chairperson LACS Farheen
Ch also anchored the the poetry recital thanked PUCAR for extending cooperation.
Director Punjab Council of the Arts, Rawalpindi Waqar Ahmed welcomed all the
distinguished guests.
