MIRPUR (AJK): In Azad Jammu & Kashmir, brisk preparations have begun by the people across Azad Jammu & Kashmir to celebrate the 143rd birthday of the founder of Pakistan – Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on 25th of December with due solemnity and reverence.
Elaborated programs are being chalked out by various social, political, governmental and non-governmental organizations and forums in various parts of AJK to pay rich tributes to the founder of Pakistan, born on December 25, 1876, organizers said here on Monday.
“In Mirpur, major ceremony to pay glorious tributes to father of the nation will be held under the auspices of the state-run National Events Organizing Committee with the coordination of various social and political organization to pay rich tributes to father of the nation for his life-time services for the accomplishment of the dream of the emergence of separate homeland of the Muslims of the sub-continent – Pakistan”, NEOC sources told this scribe here on Monday.
“A grand Quaid’s birthday cake will be cut in the special ceremony to mark the birth anniversary”, he added.
Local traders body – Markazi Anjuman e Tajraan (Ittehad Group) has announced to celebrate the birth day of the father of the nation with full respect and honour. President of the organization Ch. Mahmood Ahmed told this Correspondent here Monday that a grand ceremony will be hosted by his organization on Wednesday to celebrate the birth day of the late Quid with due solemnity and reverence. Cutting the birth day cake of the founder of Pakistan will be the hall-mark of the auspicious day, he added.
The day will dawn with special prayers in mosques for the integrity, solidarity and prosperity of Pakistan and AJK, freedom of all occupied Muslim homelands including occupied Jammu Kashmir from the Indian yoke.
Similar special ceremonies to celebrate the birthday of Quaid-e-Azam will be held in all district and tehsil headquarters of Azad Jammu Kashmir under the auspices of various social, political and intellectual organizations to celebrate this day with full zeal and fervor.
Speakers including leading scholars, politicians, lawyers and senior journalists will pay glorious tributes to the founder of Pakistan besides highlighting his hectic life, ideas and achievements – which led to the emergence of the separate homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent.
