ISLAMABAD:      In the wake of India’s refusal to avail facilities at Kartarpur corridor Pakistan has announced restoration of the conditions of carrying passports for Sikh pilgrims and collection of service charges from them. .

This special concession cannot be continued following the objections raised by India.

According to diplomatic sources it is not possible that India checks passport and Pakistan does not. –Pakistan had waived the condition of checking passports for one year besides ending the condition of registration 10 days before.

The process of exchanging lists of yatris between Pakistan and India has started.

Talking to media men Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal said pilgrims will enter into Pakistan via three points.
The pilgrims will enter from Corridor, Wahgaha border and other countries.

In this ceremony Manmohan Singh, Noujut Sidhu and chief minister Indian Punjab will participate.

FO Spokesperson said in his tweet” As a special gesture, #Pakistan announced concessions on the auspicious occasion of 550th Birth Anniversary of #BabaGuruNanak to facilitate pilgrims. This has been REFUSED by #India in balatant disregard of Sikh sentiments.#Indiaconfused#PakistanKartarpurSpirit

In a tweet message, he said if India does not wish to avail these facilities it is India’s choice.
