RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Police on Thursday has arrested three members of inter provincial motorcycle lifting gang from Pir Wadhai area.
According to details, the police team has arrested Jamshaid alias Jamshedi, ringleader of inter provincial Jamshedi motorcycle lifting gang” along with his two accomplices Saeed and Waheed.
As many as 08 motorcycles worth thousands of rupees have been recovered from the accused which they lifted from the area of police stations Pir Wadhai, Sadiqabad and City.
The City Police Officer (CPO) directed the officials to arrest of other members and facilitators of the gang as soon as possible.
The CPO Faisal Rana said that the stolen motorcycles are used in serious heinous crimes therefore the arrest of culprits and recovery of the motorcycles is essential. The concern of important persons of society over the increasing crime rate in Rawal division is valid, we have to adopt a strategy to ensure protection of lives and property of the citizens.
