Rawalpindi: On the directives of the Cantonment Executive Officer, the Public Health Officer, Waris Bhatti along with a Team of Anti-Dengue experts conducted a survey in different Cant areas here on Thursday.
According to details, Bhatti led team of experts visited different areas of the Cant including Habib Colony, Misryal Road and Chamanabad. During the survey, out of 25 places, Dengue larva was recovered from 5 locations, which were sealed forthwith. A penalty worth 35,000 rupees was slapped against the law violators whereas legal notices have been served to the owners of under construction buildings at different places.
Moreover, the Anti-Dengue team sprayed in Cant areas including Coal Center, Maulvi Mohammad Hussain Street President, Qasim Market, Kab Lane, Afshan Colony, Dhok Chaudhari, Peshawar Road and Range Road.
Pertinently, the anti-Dengue team has been conducting survey and spray in different areas on a daily basis.
