Rawalpindi:             Despite enforcement of dengue emergency in Rawalpindi the number of people infected with the dengue virus has exceeded to 500.
Federal Minister of Railway Sheikh Rasheed has visited the three government hospitals due to serious condition of the patients.

According to media reports the dengue virus is spreading in Rawalpindi and the number of infected people has exceeded to 500 while 3 of them are very serious. The number of infected people has reached 300 in private hospitals and clinics.
On Thursday the Federal Minister of Railway Sheikh Rasheed visited District Headquarter, Benazir Bhutto General Hospital and Holy Family Hospital due to critical condition of the affected patients where he received a detailed briefing from the hospital administration regarding dengue.
According to doctors more than 7 hundred infected people have visited the hospitals while the healthy patients were discharged after treatment.
On the other hand the number of infected people with dengue virus has exceeded 100 in Islamabad government hospitals PIMS and Poly Clinic.
