TEXAS: The Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that Kashmiri people were looking for the implementation of President Trumps’ mediation offer on the longstanding Kashmir dispute.
This he stated while talking to the US President’s Adviser Sajjad Tarar in at Texas in United States on Monday.
Terming the US President’s mediation offer as a big advancement on the lingering dispute, AJK Prime Minister urged United States to play its role for resolution of Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN Security Council’s resolutions.
Raja Farooq Haider briefed Sajjad Tarar on the deteriorating human rights situation arising out from the Occupied Valley and Indian Army’s cluster bombing on civilian population at Line of Control (LoC).
He said Kashmir dispute is not a bilateral issue between Pakistan and India but an unfinished agenda of partition plan of subcontinent.
Voicing concerns over the situation in occupied Kashmir, the AJK prime minister said the occupied territory has been turned into a prison by the Indian authorities.
Speaking on the occasion, Sajjad Tarar said that US President Donald Trump believes in peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute. He condemned the Indian human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.
