Says we will welcome any such mission’s visit to AJK,

BIRMINGHAM (UK): Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan has urged European Union and United Nations to constitute a fact finding mission to observe the human rights situation both in Occupied and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

The AJK PM made these remarks while addressing a function arranged in his honor by Advisor to the government Raja Javed Iqbal in Birmingham UK. “We welcome fact finding mission to visit Azad Kashmir”, the Premier announced. Farooq Haider informed that second report on human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir has also been issued.

“We need to expose the ugly face of India to the world community and overseas Kashmiris could play a vital role in this regard”, he added. The Prime Minister appreciated the participation of Kashmiris and Pakistani community on Youm-e-Shohda e Kashmir on 13th July in Barcelona, Spain. “I have thoroughly discuss the situation in Occupied Kashmir during my interaction with different institution of European Union at Spain, Italy and Brussels and informed them about the gross human rights violations at the hands of Indian troops in Occupied Kashmir”, Haider informed.

“I informed them about the ceasefire line violations by Indian troops in which innocent children, old aged persons and women are being targeted with sniper rifles”, Premier added. He said this is an international crime which needs to be taken a serious notice by United Nations and other human rights bodies.

Referring to the flash-flood in Lesswa Neelum Valley, he said I am in constant touch with the Chief Secretary and administration. The government will take all possible steps for full rehabilitation of the flood affectees. Raja Farooq Haider Khan informed that he will participate on Pakistan Day function at United States on 14th of next month and will also meet their overseas Kashmiris and party workers during his stay in US.
