Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times)     AJ&K prime minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that ”Yume e Takbeer”is commemorated every year on May 28 to mark the conduction of nuclear tests on the very day, in 1998, making Pakistan the seventh nuclear nation of the world and first Islamic state equipped with a nuclear arsenal.

Addressing at Central Press Club, the prime minister said, on May 11, 1998, India with its nuclear tests had tried to disturb the balance of power in the South Asian region.

However, after conducting nuclear tests, defense of Pakistan became impregnable and the enemies could not dare to look towards it with bad intentions, he added.

“Youm e Takbeer is testimony to the fact that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif could not be bought or bowed”, the PM said.

Prime Minister said” only brave and courageous leader could decide to conduct atomic blasts. Former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif could never allow any hurdle in the prestige and honor of the country”.

He said Nawaz Sharif’s wealth is people of the country. People would protect the prestige and honor of Nawaz Sharif as their prestige and honor were enhanced by conducting six atomic blasts.

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had made country’s defense impregnable, he added.

He said now the enemy had changed her strategy and was trying to weak the country internally. All such nefarious moves of the enemy would be frustrated with full vigor by the nation.
