Karachi: Appointments of advisor to PM on finance Hafeez Sheikh and governor State Bank Raza Baqir has been challenged in the Sindh High Court.
Petitioner has filed a petition in the Sindh High Court on Monday while taking the plea that appointment of Hafeez Sheikh and Raza Baqir is linked to country’s sovereignty.
Court observed that “Has any violation of law or the constitution been made in the appointments?
Court while fixing the plea for hearing sought arguments on maintainability of the petition on next hearing and adjourned the hearing till May 15.
