Lahore:    World renowned Pakistani artist and social crusader Jimmy Engineer has strongly condemned series of terrorist attacks on churches and five star hotels on East Sunday in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in which about 300 precious lives have been lost and still larger number of people injured and hospitalized.

In a statement here, Jimmy Engineer said that he was deeply concerned and saddened on hearing the tragic news about terrorist attacks, terrorists have no religion, faith and belong to no country and the people at large throughout the world should join hands in checking and curbing terrorist and extremists activities together with commitment and determination to ensure durable peace and safe living everywhere.

Jimmy Engineer has expressed his heartfelt sorrow and grief with the bereaved families of those who have lost their precious lives in terrorists attacks, prayed for early recovery of the injured persons and return of peace and normalcy in Sri Lanka.

He said that he was in Colombo , Sri Lanka, only last month , had joined hands with local artist Mueen Saheed in inaugurating Billari Art Gallery through joint exhibition of their creative art work.

Speaking on the occasion, Jimmy Engineer had emphasized on how art influences one’s life and giving back to the world should be a top priority, we bring nothing and we take nothing, hopefully my art will bring peace and happiness to the world, I will be travelling often to the country and lot of his creative art work will be displayed at Billari Art Gallery in the months to come.
