Brussels : (PR) Chairman Kashmir Council Europe (KC-EU) Mr Ali Raza Syed has called for immediate release of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik who despite of his serious physical condition detained in Delhi’s notorious Tihar jail.
Expressed grave concerns over the deteriorating health of the imprisoned Kashmiri leader, Ali Raza Syed asked the international community to pressurize India for fast release of Malik to save his life.
Indicating towards a grave threat to the life of Mohammad Yasin Malik, Mr Ali Raza Syed said urged the international community to take immediate steps to be save his life.
In a statement, Chairman Kashmir Council EU said that UN and EU should also take immediate notice of the worsening health of the Kashmiri leader in the infamous Tihar prison, which was earlier witness of brutal death of two Kashmir martyrs Maqbool Butt and Afzal Guru in 1984 and 2013 respectively.
He said, the harassment and intimidation of Yasin Malik by Indian authorities for several months and as well as his hunger strike against this harmful attitude have depressingly affected the Malik’s health.
Chairman KC-EU said, Muhammad Yasin Malik is a symbol of freedom movement of Jammu and Kashmir and we cannot tolerate over his deteriorating health.
He said, if something is happening to life of Yasin Malik, the Indian Modi’s government would be responsible for that.
