    AJK Assembly denounces Indian firing on LoC, brutalities in IoK

    MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times)    The AJK legislative assembly on Friday strongly denounced the Indian forces firing from across the LoC, aerial violations, state sponsored terrorism and other brutalities of Indian forces against the innocent Kashmiris in IOK.

    The Legislative Body, which resumed its session on Friday with deputy speaker Sardar Amar Altaf in chair adopted a number of resolutions wherein the legislators condemned presented a number of resolutions condemning the New Zealand terrorist attack against Muslims, massacre of Kashmiri Muslims by Indian forces and Indian naked aggression on the LoC.

    A resolution presented by minister for small industries and AKMIDC Ch. Shahzad Mehmood condemned the New Zealand terrorist attack against Muslims in which 50 Muslims were martyred while offering prayers. It says that the incident hurt the sensitivities of the Muslims all over the world. It sympathized with the families of the martyred and prayed for early recovery of injured. The resolutions also paid tributes to the prime minister of New Zealand for expressing solidarity with Muslims.

    Another resolution presented by MLA Sagheer Chughtai expressed the similar views on New Zealand incident. It also condemned the prejudiced treatment of India with Muslims. It appealed the UNSC to take practical steps to ensure that such incidents do not take place against Muslims in future.

    MLA Shazia Akbar Chaudhry also brought up the New Zealand terrorist issue in the house. She said martyring 50 Muslims including 9 Pakistanis in Christchurch was an eye opener to the world. She said this incident sent a wave of shock all over the Muslim world. She said the police head in Christchurch embraced Islam after the incident. She paid rich tributes to the prime minister of New Zealand for expressing solidarity with Muslims.

    Another resolution presented by MLA Rifat Aziz strongly denounced the Indian forces firing from across the LoC, aerial violations, state sponsored terrorism and other brutalities of Indian forces against the innocent Kashmiris in IOK. The resolution says that things are sharply deteriorating in the held valley. It said that despite all brute actions of Indian forces the Kashmiris’ determination and spirit is strong and high. It says that Indian forces had been engaged in massacring the Kashmiri Muslims for the last seven decades. Their lives had been made a living hell by the occupation forces, it added.
