Denounces ban on JI and JKLF in IoK, terms it flagrant violation of UN resolutions,

MUZAFFARABAD:   (Parliament Times)     The AJK cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan, approved various resolutions here on Wednesday.

A resolution strongly denounced the hostile and aggressive attitude of Indian Prime Minister against Pakistan and Indian unprovoked shelling from across the LoC. It lauds the courage of people living close to LoC who have been braving Indian forces firing.

Another resolution reposes full confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan. It appreciated the role of PM in lobbying the committees in European and British Parliaments and other international forums for Kashmir issue. It paid tributes to the Premier for expressing solidarity with the people living close to LoC and armed forces stationed there.

The cabinet expressed gratitude to federal government for 5 billion special package including one billion each for health and education under BISP for people who were subjected by Indian forces firing at LoC.

Another resolution commended the role of armed forces of the country for defending its ideological and geographical frontiers. It also denounced Indian media and Modi’s propaganda against Pakistan. Indian atrocities and brutalities have been exposed to the world that brought humiliation to India, it observed.

The cabinet condemned Indian forces actions against citizens and their arrests, siege and search operations, use of pellet guns, draconian laws and targeting Kashmiris in India after Pulwama incident. It urged the international community to help Kashmiris get their right to self-determination.

Yet another resolution denounces the ban on JI and JKLF in Kashmir and terms it flagrant violation of UN resolutions. Kashmiris political rights could not be limited, it states. The resolution demands for release of APHC leaders detained in jails.

Another resolution expressed satisfaction over release of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on medical grounds. It felicitated the democracy loving powers.

The cabinet meeting strongly condemned the incident of martyring 50 worshippers in two mosques in New Zealand by a terrorist. It offered prayer for departed souls and early recovery of injured. It paid tributes to Prime Minister New Zealand for expressing great solidarity with Muslim communities in her country.

Another resolution expresses thanks to federal government for raising water use charges from 15 paisa to 1.10. per unit. It would help state government receive 12 billion annually.
