SUKKAR: Former opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) and PPP senior leader Khurshid Shah has said nation should seek resignation from Imran Khan for not reining in inflation.
“Inflation tsunami is roaring today. Cost of commodity valuing one rupee has soared to Rs 5. The price of petroleum products has gone up. Inquiry should be conducted into increase in the value of dollar. Who remained beneficiary owing to overnight increase in the value of dollar. Imran Khan used to say that he would control inflation after coming to power. Nation should demand resignation from Imran for not curbing price hike”, he said this while talking to media men here Saturday.
He held Imran Khan says this was done and that was done during 10 years but he does not say that a dictator remained in power during 10 years.
He underlined Sindh is land of Sufis. May Sindh soil remain safe from evils of Imran Khan.
He remarked we are ready to go to jails. But Imran Khan cannot spend one day in jail as he had already admitted it.
He underscored government has no explanation to offer to the questions related to tsunami. It was said during our regime that tax is being levied on petrol. We are still ready to go alongside government,. Imran Khan is still pursuing the politics of container. The cost of the BRT project has surged from Rs 40 billion to Rs 110 billions due to Tabdeeli sarkar policies. We should strive that unalloyed democracy comes in the country.
He went on to say prime minister says he has not money then what projects will he announce for Sindh.
He pointed out Pervez Musharraf will never come to Pakistan. These are people of Musharraf who have come in disguise. The country will not be run with slogans. Practically work will have to be done. Musharraf cabinet was made part of the present government, he alleged.
