MIRPUR AJK: Incident happened in Khokharan road, Dina, district Jhelum in Pakistan, where robbers raided at house of syed Talib Hussain Shah son of Khadim Hussain Shah.
Robbers were stealing money and gold jewellery from the home, Mr Shah was protecting his family from robbers and was shot dead by robbers.
Syed Talib Shah was shifted to Jhelum District headquarter hospital, from where he was referred to Rawalpindi hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately he could not survive and died at Rawalpindi hospital.
Syed Talib Shah came back to his homeland along with young daughter and wife about 1 year ago to look after his parents.
He put his house up to rent in UK and came to Pakistan to look after his ill parents. He had worked as a security guard for the Next warehouse in Toftshaw Lane for more than a decade.
He was a well-respected member of the community in Bradford and used to be the secretary of the Anjuman e Haideria Mosque, in St Mary’s Road, Manningham.
His funeral and burial took place at his native home town in Jhelum, Pakistan.
