PBC, Rawalpindi-III (AJK Radio Trarkhel) was established in 1948 to air voice of Kashmir. Since then this radio station has acted as the voice of Kashmir and presented the true picture of Indian held Kashmir. Attrocities and human rights violations by the Indian forces and countered the Indian media propaganda in Kashmiri, Gojri, Pahari and Urdu languages. Its importance can be judged by its role in 1965 and1971 war. It is also importance of said Radio station, recent statement of Indian Prime Minister N. Moodi in which he blamed this radio for propaganda against Indian army specially indian air force. He addressed to gathering and confessed with wide statement that "Radio Tararkhal" is main hurdle and the piller to demorallize our national army aims" Dear readers, its the good morality and mannerable commetments of the staff and management of Radio Tararkhal for struggle of jammu & kashmir. All parties hurriyat conference and other kashmiri leadership has composed their comments about the closure of Radio station. It is our main piller for the struggle of kashmir dispute. All parties hurriyat conference and ajk political leadership & social activicts has appealed to Director General ISPR (as member governing body) & Federal Secretary information to demoralize the closure and shifting the said radio station from present premises for moral health of the kashmir dispute and self determination moment.Kashmiri leadership has appealed to Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan to continue their supports for kashmir struggle with political, diplomatic & moral.
The present Radio management has decided to shift its transmission from short wave transmitter to web streaming. The fact of the matter is that:
1. Internet services is not available in Indian held Kashmir (Target Areas) and web
streaming will jeopardize its real function.
2. The station is shifted to Islamabad. All the artists, compares and writers are living in Rawalpindi. They are experienced in propaganda and counter propaganda broadcast. It will not be possible for these artists to come
Islamabad in the meager fee structure of PBC.
It is therefore requested that PBC management and high authorities to allocate the funds for short wave transmitter and roll back the decision of web streaming and shifting of this important station and voice of Kashmiri people to Islamabad.
