ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times) AJK PPP President Ch. Lateef Akbar addressed the editors, news editors, and columnists of various newspapers here at Islamabad Press Club on Friday. AJK President briefed the newsmen regarding his visit to Britain and political situation of Kashmir in scenario of visit of Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi. Abdul Wadood Qureshi, Raja Kafeel Ahmed, Khauja Mateen, Zahid Tabassum, Basharat Abbasi, Ejaz Abbasi, Shehzad Rathore, Muhayyudin Dar,Ch. Javed, Irshad Mehmood, Waqas Syed, Kalid Gardeizi, Arshad Sani and Qaisar Sardar were among the audience who participated in the dinner . Ch. Lateef Akbar stated that he called on various Members of parliaments, lord mayors, councilors of civil society of Britain and informed them the cruelties perpetrated against Kashmiris specially in Pulwama. AJK President said that he organized the workers and participated in various meetings of PPP in London, Birmingham, Bradford, Week field, Schefold, Nottingham and adjoining cities. He appreciated the role played by various organizations of PPP Britain, Greater London including Muhammad Matloob Inqilabi, Sahibzada Zulfiqar Ali, Qasim Majeed.
Ch. Lateef Akbar said that people of Pakistan and all political parties and PPP are with Armed forces and position of India has been brushed aside, whereas shooting down of two Indian pilots has disgraced them in the world. AJK PPP General Secretary Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, on this occasion, paid condolence on the expiry of AJK PPP Voice President Abdul Salam Butt and appreciated his role for Party’s welfare.
