    3 kids died, two others injured after roof top of kacha house caved in

    MIRPUR (AJK): Three children of minor ages were killed and two others, belonging to the same family, were seriously injured, after the roof top of their kacha house collapsed at the wee hours here on Wednesday.

    The tragic incident occurred near the mausoleum of Saien Jhalla at Mian Muhammad Road where the roof top of a bed-room of the dilapidated-conditioned house, belonging to one Ershad Ahmed, caved in following recent torrential rains in the area leaving three of his children including two daughters and a son died on the spot besides injuring of two other sons.

    Both the injured have been admitted in Mirpur Divisional Headquarter Hospital where their condition is stated to be critical.

    All the five victims of the tragic mishap are said to be 3 to 13 years of age. The deceased were identified as Asif, Emaan Fatima and Amna.

    The parents remained safe fortunately as they were asleep in their separate bed-room.

    Mirpur district and its outskirts are in the grip of heavy intermittent rains since past many days that badly affected the kacha houses at various locations besides partially affecting the daily life.
