Islamabad: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) on Tuesday extended the final date of admission till March 15 for Spring 2019 semester, with a nominal late fee.
It aimed at facilitating the aspiring students, particular those from remote regions to bring themselves in the educational net.
The new date will be valid for all programs from Matric to postgraduate-level programs, said Director Syed Zia-Ul-Hasnain Naqvi.
The admission forms of SSC program will be received with late fee charges of Rs.100/-, FA, Associate Degree and BA late fee charges is Rs.200 while late fee charges of all the postgraduate programs is Rs.500/-.
Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Zia-Ul-Qayyum hoped that the maximum number of people will take benefit of the extension in admissions’ date to continue their study, through distance learning system.
Admissions forms and prospectuses could be obtained from the University’s main campus, 44-Regional Campuses and more than 100- Coordinating Offices across the country, moreover prospectus and admission forms of all programs could also be obtained from the University’s official website.
