Muzaffarabad: Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali denounced the declaration of Jamat-e-Islami (JeI) as “unlawful association” and expressed his grave concerns on this act of Indian Government.
In a statement issued here on Friday, Uzair Ghazali said that JeI is a vision and thought provoking Islamic organization and it can’t be expunged from the souls of Kashmiri people.
He said that imprisonments of Pro-Islamic and Hurriyat leadership is perpetrated aggression of Indian armed forces but people of Jammu and Kashmir will never accept Indian occupation.
“Indian occupied forces arrested All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders besides leadership of JeI including other religious parties’ leadership” Ghazali maintained.
Uzair reiterated that Narendra Modi wants to change the identity of Muslims in Kashmir in addition of its demography and they can abolish Article 35-A.
“Indian atrocities cannot diminish the courage of Kashmiri people who are struggling for their freedom for the last 71 years” he added.
He said that people of Jammu and Kashmir should unite for nation’s integrity and Islamic identity.
He also expressed deep concerns over the role of United Nations, saying that UN role on Kashmir issue is hypocritical and insincere.
He said that United Nations has become a silent viewer on Indian atrocities and brutalities in addition of deteriorating human rights violations in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, “What is the role of UN on Kashmir issue since long?” he pointed.
He stated that deployment of additional armed forces troops in the valley clearly shows Indian aggression and forceful occupation, “still international observers are silent spectators” he lamented.
He demanded international organizations to take stern notice of Indian atrocities and notices on disruption of religious freedom in Kashmir.
