RAWALPINDI: While issuing notices to 35 property owners for illegal construction the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) has directed the property owners to submit their lay-out plans (building maps) with RCB immediately without any further delay.

According to a statement issued here on Wednesday the RCB’s building department teams have issued notices to the owners of the buildings and structures constructed illegally in different areas falling under the cantonment jurisdiction including Marble Factory, Usmania Colony, Misriyal Road, Ahmedabad and Peshawar Road.

Moreover, the RCB’s anti-encroachment team during their operations in different areas have seized five truck-loads goods from different venders who have illegally setup their stalls on roadside in different localities of Sadr, Bank road, Peshawar road, Pirwadai Mor, and Bukra Mandi areas.

Meanwhile, the RCB’s license branch officials issued notices to 185 shopkeepers running their businesses without trade licenses in the RCB areas asking them to renew their license at the earliest else heavy fine would be imposed on them. Whereas 0.5 million rupees have been collected from issuing 141 trade licenses who have met all the requirements for the trade license
