MUZAFFARABAD : (Parliament Times) The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan has underscored the need of formulating Kashmir policy anew in consultation with all political parties to more effectively highlight Kashmir issue over the globe. Addressing a function, held under Kashmir Liberation Cell, here on Saturday to observe Indian Yaum-e-Jamhoria as black day, the Premier said federal government may directly put up Kashmir issue with UNSC. He said a parliamentary delegation representing all political parties and leaders of Pakistan should be sent to UN so that Kashmir issue could be forcefully taken up with nations of the world.Mr. Haider said India was a two-faced country. In one face it poses itself as one of the most democratic countries of the world while in the other face it unleashes mountains of atrocities, state terrorism and human rights abuses against people of Kashmir. Modi’s forces are making mockery of Kashmiris by tying them with vehicles and dragging. India is engaged in committing sort of cruelties that Israel is committing against Palestinians, he added. International community should take notice of these brutalities of Indian forces in the held valley, he remarked. He said Kashmiris are fighting war of survival. He however, said that the thinking of nations of the world is changing now on Kashmir. UN human rights commission’s report speaks volume of abuses of human rights committed by Indian forces. Federal government should pave the way of international community for resolution of Kashmir issue, he stated.He said India was crafty beyond our thoughts. We need to evolve strong unity to combat the conspiracies of our enemy, he said. He said India was also trying to change demography in Occupied Kashmir which would not only harm Kashmiris but also people of other religions. He said Kashmiris were determined to foil all its machinations. The Prime Minister also paid rich tributes to the martyrdoms of people of Kashmir who lighted the torch of freedom with their blood. He also emphasized upon Kashmiris living in AJK, Pakistan and abroad to express solidarity with enthusiasm with struggling people of Kashmir on Feb 5. He condemned the unprovoked Indian forces firing from across the LoC killing and injuring civilians, destroying schools and vehicles in its firing.Mr. Haider assured armed forces of the country that 4.5 million people of AJK would fight side by side with them in case India tried any misadventure in Azad Kashmir.The function was also addressed by Ch. Masood Khalid, Sheikh Aqeelur Rehman, Shaukat Javed Mir, Abdul Aziz Alvi, Ch. Shaukat Aziz, Raja Sajjad, Aziz Ahmed Ghazali and others while ministers Noreen Arif, Dr. Mustafa Bashir Abbasi, member Kashmir Council Malik Pervaiz Awan, Ch. Manzoor Ahmed, Zahid Amin Kashif, Mushtaqul Islam and others attended it.
