Rawalpindi: Three people including two women were burnt to death after explosion occurred in a residential flat due to the gas leakage in Dhook Chaudhrian, Rawalpindi.
According to rescue 1122, an explosion occurred due to gas leakage in the residential flat in Dhook chaudhrian in the morning when one of the victims burnt a match stick for the preparation of breakfast and fire erupted.
As a result three people including 2 women identified as shabnam Kayani, Humera Nishat, 50 and Fahad Kayani were burnt to death.
Rescue 1122 reached the scene and shifted the injured into nearby District Headquarters hospital.
According to preliminary investigation, explosion occurred after a valve of gas stove remained open while kept on leaking the whole night long.
According to police, all three deceased hailed from sikkhu, Gujjar Khan.
