KARACHI: The opening of the second largest International Watercolor legend masters show titled ,”HUES OF DIVERSITY-II” took place at Jasmine Hall, Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi.organized by Artciti Gallery in collaboration with IWS-Pakistan. The works of 24 remarkable watercolorist from different corners of the world put on display. The objective of this exhibition is mainly to promote watercolor in Pakistan and to captivate the audience with a broad range of different techniques.used in one particular medium.
Artist participating in this exhibition are from various countries such as Turkey, UK, USA, Hong Kong, Brazil, India, Serbia, Italy, Russia, Iran and Pakistan.” We would like to specially appreciate the contribution and support of Mr.Ali Abbas(President IWS Pakistan) in helping us organizing this exhibition.”Mr.Juniad (Director of Articit gallery) said while talking to the country news.
The diverse palette of artists makes the entire exhibit more intriguing to the eye and educates people in the use of watercolor in different countries and cultures.Viewing the exhibition, one has the rare oppertunity of viewing paintings of different renowned artists from all around the world such as Atanur Dogan(Turkey), Cuneyt Senyavas(Turkey), David Poxon(UK), Eudes Correria(Brazil), Fu Man Yat(Hong Kong), Ilya Ibrayaev(Russia), Javed Tabatabai(Iran),John Salminen(USA), Linda A.Doll(USA), Nader Mohazabnia(Iran), Nicolas Lopez(Serbia), Pasqualino Fracasso(Italy), Rajat Subhra(India), Sanjay Desai(India), Sasa Marjanovic(Serbia), Ze Ze Lai(Hong Kong) , as well as enjoying the work of Qudsia Nisar, Hajra Manoor, Ali Abbas Syed, Abdul Hayee, Akram Dost, G.N.Qazi, Ghullam Hussain and A.H.Rizvi from Pakistan. For art lovers, artists, and art students, it is an opportunity not to be missed.
The demonstration of world renowed watercolorist Nader Mohazabnia was also hold for the audience and are lovers. Nader Mohazabnia is one of the watercolorists who has magnificent watercolor portrait techniques. The students enjoyed the techniques of this legend artsist which coming from Iran. “ This is my second time visited Pakistan. I love the culture and people of Pakistan. They are very loving to me. I really enjoyed during my demonstration here.i am very much thankful to Mr.Ali Abbas Syed who given me this great opportunity 2 nd time and invited me here in Paksitan.” One of the organizers of IWS Pakistan Ms.Fatima Ali said while talking to the country news,”We organized this watercolor exhibition second time with Artciti Gallery. We want to promote watercolor as well as watercolor artists from all around the world in Pakistan to emphasize the watercolor in Pakistan. The IWS society of Pakistan is struggling his level best to promote and exhibit watercolor works of Pakistani artists in all around the world. Mr.Junaid is very helping and supporting us in organizing this exhibition, He done a great work in history of watercolor in Pakistan by organizing this exhibition.”
It is interesting to note that it was not until 2012 that the International Watercolour Society was established. It expanded to include seventy countries of the world including Pakistan.Here an enthusiastic group of artists including the leading exponents of watercolour painting, have attended festivals, and traveled abroad where their paintings were acquired by National Museums. In 2014, Ali Abbas was the recipient of the Gold Medal award for the Biennale held in Spain, and in 2016, foreign artists were invited to participate in the IWS Biennale held in Jamshoro.

Gallery,Karachi. A gallery that has encouraged the watercolor movement and who are
also in touch with the artists of other countries. For this reason, a fascinating exhibition has been organized by the Artciti Gallery.
The exhibition will remain open for the next 10 days more for the public and also
welcome the new watercolor artists to come forward and promote IWS Society of Pakistan.
