“Quaid-e-Azam gave Muslims realization of dream of Allama Iqbal”
MUZAFFARABAD: (Parliament Times) President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Ahmed Khan, Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan and Information Minister Raja Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas on Monday paid eulogizing tributes to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for his indomitable role in the struggle for the creation of a separate homeland for the Muslims of subcontinent.
The AJK president, in his message issued on the eve of birth anniversary of founder of nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, said, “Quaid-e-Azam created a separate homeland for Muslims of subcontinent to free them from Indian subjugation where they had not only complete religious freedom but also opportunities for socio economic development”. Quaid-e-Azam he said gave Muslims the realization of dream of Allama Iqbal and created a separate country for them where their future generations could sigh of relief in a free atmosphere.
“Jinnah was an internationally famed leader, legal expert and charismatic personality who was well aware of political machinations of British and Hindus. He knew that these two elements wanted to enslave the Muslims for good” he observed. Quaid after Pakistan resolution in 1940 intensified his efforts for a separate homeland for Muslims and achieved it in 1947, he stated.
Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan in his message said that people of Kashmir set up a relation with Pakistan even before its creation when Quaid-e-Azam visited Kashmir in 1944 and they strongly stuck to it despite facing many ups and downs. He said women, children, elderly and youth in Kashmir have been sacrificing their lives for completion of Quaid’s Pakistan. He said Quaid-e-Azam in a very short span of time created Pakistan changing the course of history of the subcontinent. And he did it despite conspiracies of British and Hindus against creation of Pakistan, he remarked. He said Jinnah always loved Kashmiris and wholeheartedly supported their cause. People of Kashmir also expressed their passion and reverence for Quaid-e-Azam and his sister Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, he noted.
Information Minister Raja Mushtaq Minhas in his separate message on this occasion said Quaid-e-Azam set up the largest Islamic State just after 7 years of Resolution of Pakistan on March 23, 1940. It was a huge success which became possible only by the dynamic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, he observed. He said Kashmiris are fighting for Kashmir liberation struggle and defense of Pakistan war today. He said we should renew our resolve that we will spare no efforts for Kashmir liberation struggle and entire state accession to Pakistan.
