RAWALAKOT: (Parliament Times) AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan assured his government was focused on improving the quality of education, health and infrastructure in AJK.
Addressing a public meeting at Ali Sojal on Saturday he said “we don’t want to waste our time in criticizing the candidates of PPP and JKPP in Poonch constituency. Everything is on ground for people to see who worked more than others in the constituency. He said his government would take pragmatic steps to uplift the life of people of Poonch.
“We got the first hand information about how some regions were kept backward by successive governments. We had no idea as PML-N was contesting elections first time in Poonch” he said. The Premier said PML-N had two and half years ahead to address the problems faced to the people of Poonch. He said if people cast their votes to Sardar Tahir Anwar the government in return would also pool its resources for the area.
On this occasion, Haji Rasheed who was earlier the prospective candidate of the ruling party but was later replaced by the top leadership of the party with Sardar Tahir Anwar introduced the prominent personalities of Ali Sojal with the Prime Minister.
Raja Farooq Haider Khan also inaugurated the party office at Kohkot that falls on way of Ali Sojal.
Addressing the public meeting Haji Rashid who is from Ali Sojal assured the Prime Minister that PML-N candidate would give a very tough time to Haji Yaqub in the area. He said government would construct roads and hospitals to provide better communication and health facilities to the people of the area.
A number of people of other parties on this occasion announced to join the ruling party and vote for it in the upcoming by-election.
