Islamabad: The Embassy of Netherlands has refuted the news about the closure of the embassy at Islamabad.
While talking to Online on Monday , the diplomatic sources in the embassy said that though the action was taken to close the Counselor Section , however it is restored also .He said that news is being run on the social media that government of Netherlands is mulling over to close down its embassy in Pakistan, which are totally baseless and false.
He said that there is not any truth in thse news as the embassy is fully functioning as routine .He reiterated his resolve to work with the cooperation of Pakistan.
It is pertinent to mention here that after the release of Aasia Bibi , a news was spread viral on social media that the embassy of Netherlands has been shut down .
