MIRPUR (AJK): Veteran Mirpur Traders leader and President his own faction of Markazi Anjuman e Tajraan Mirpur Ch. Mahmood Ahmed has welcomed the recent report of British All Parties Parliamentary Group on Kashmir (APPGK) on ugly human rights situation in occupied Jammu Kashmir presented in the British Parliament.
The APPGK’s report carries serious concern over gross human rights violations being perpetrated by Indian occupying troops in occupied Jammu Kashmir, Mahmood said while talking to this Correspondent here on Thursday.
He pointed out that the APPGK had been working in the UK Parliament for over past three decades but the incumbent Chairman, Chris Leslie and Member of House of Commons, was playing an active role in highlighting the reign of state terrorism and violence unleashed by Indian troops against innocent freedom loving Kashmiris the occupied state. He said that the people of Jammu & Kashmir appreciate him.
Mahmood expressed the hope that the report would encourage and raise the morale of the people of Kashmir facing the Indian state terrorism in occupied Jammu Kashmir.
The Kashmiri traders stalwart called upon the world custodians of the human rights and the United Nations to move ahead practically to save the Jammu Kashmir people from the Indian atrocities besides to ensure early grant of the birth right of self determination to them without further loss of time under the spirit on the international norms and commitments.
