ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times) Chairman NAB, Justice (R) Javed Iqbal during a high level meeting here on Sunday reviewed the overall performance of NAB.
The meeting expressed satisfaction over the across country conducted Gallup and Gilani survey from October 8 to 15 declaring that 59 percent Pakistani have expressed satisfaction over NAB’s performance. Lauding survey results, the Chairman NAB said that eradication of corruption is the top most priority of NAB. NAB is actively pursuing the policy of “Accountability for All” across the country. He said that 59 percent people’s confidence on NAB actions against corruption elements is ample proof of NAB’s serious efforts to nab the corrupt across the board with iron hands. He said that eradication of corruption is the voice of the whole nation and NAB is absolutely committed for corruption free Pakistan with the realisation that eradication of corruption is our national duty. He said that reputable organisation PILDAT in its last year report indicated that 42 percent people have confidence on NAB but now during the recent month of October 2018 survey of Gallop and Gillani Pakistan shows that people’s confidence on NAB has increased due to NAB’s actions by adopting the policy of seeing Case not face as per law.
