Islamabad: It is learnt that a decision has been taken in principle to reopen Kayaban-e-Suhrwardy from Zero Point to Aabpara after 10 years in front of CDA Complex and adjoining buildings.
Supreme Court has given one month time to reopen this road.
According to CDA sources one suggestion is to reopen one southern carriageway after its widening and north carriageway will remain closed as usual and a 1200 feet wide new road will be built costing Rs. 25 million.
According to sources no decision has yet been taken to reopen Service Road East G/7/4.
