Lahore: Lahore High Court has accepted the interim bail pleas of PMLN leader Saad Rafique and his brother Salman Rafique against furnishing bail bonds of Rs 5, 00,000 each.
LHC took up the case seeking interim bails of Saad Rafique and his brother Salman Rafique for hearing on Monday.
During the course of hearing, petitioner’s counsel took the plea that inquiry in paragon city case is underway in NAB and his clients are completely cooperating with accountability bureau.
Whatever record NAB had sought, they provided it. NAB calls people on name of inquiry and arrests them, he added.
He has reservation that his clients would be arrested by NAB, therefore it is prayed to stop NAB from making possible arrest.
On it court granted the interim bail to Saad Rafique and his brother Salman Rafique till October 24 against furnishing surety bonds of Rs 5, 00,000 each.
Court while stopping NAB from arresting Saad Rafique and Brother Salman Rafique allowed it to continue its investigation besides issuing notices to respondents.
