Rawalpindi: The Punjab Government has decided to release wheat quota to more than 100 flour mills in Rawalpindi District.
The rates of officially supplied wheat to flour mills have been increased. Similarly, the prices of flour have also been increased.
The rates of wheat have been fixed at 1300/per 40 Kg.
Meanwhile Wheat dealers have refused to sale wheat on rates other than rates fixed in price list and have informed the District Food Controller about their reservations.
According to an Official in Food Department the Flour Mill owners want to enhance flour rates in accordance with the increased rates of wheat.
Officials of Wheat Dealers Association have lauded Punjab Government’s move to release wheat quota.
