“PM condoles demise of Ch. Sharif”
Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) In a flagrant violation to international law the Indian army on Sunday fired shots at helicopter of Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider from a border post.
The incident took place when the AJK PM Raja Farooq Haider Khan was traveling on a white civilian helicopter to travel to Tarori near LoC to condole the death of brother of Chaudhry Abdul Aziz. However, the helicopter landed safely on the ground without any damage.
The incident reflects the state of affairs of panic-stricken Indian army and media who termed it a Pak Army helicopter.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the family of Ch. Muhammad Sharif.
Minister for Information, Tourism and IT Raja Mushtaq Minhas and Education Minister Barrister Iftikhar Gillani also accompanied the Prime Minister. Sharif who was elder brother of Minister for Works Ch. Muhammad Aziz passed away at his native town Forward Kahuta a few days back.
While expressing his melancholy with the bereaved family the Prime Minister said that the deceased was a noble character and well-known figure of the area. He will be missed by the family and the people of the area for long. He expressed sympathy with Chaudhry Muhammad Aziz and prayed for the departed soul.
Meanwhile expressing sympathy with the family of Raja Muhammad Razzak Khan who passed away in Bhimber Mr. Haider counted the services of the deceased for PML-N and said he was one of the staunch supporters of the party who committed himself wholeheartedly for development of his area. His political services for the area would always be remembered, he added. He along with Mushtaq Minhas and Barrister Iftikhar Gillani prayed for the departed soul.
