Islamabad: Speaker National Assembly Mian Asad Qaisar called upon Prime Minister Imran Khan here on Friday at Prime Minister House.
The duo discussed constitution of Parliamentary Committee to look into the allegations of rigging in July 25th Elections, matters of legislation and rules and regulations of assembly.
Speaker NA informed PM Imran Khan about equal representation given to opposition and government in the committee. The announcement regarding formation of the committee would be made as soon as names of Senators were received , he said.
He also informed the PM regarding Fawad Chaudhry’s speech in NA on Thursday and said it was essential to take opposition along to run the house in better way. Pandemonium will plague the situation. Therefore, all will have to be taken along to make the environment6 of house pleasant.
Upon Which PM Imran Khan said “we have to work for the welfare of people and the public has given us the mandate for that purpose.
He said such legislation in the parliament should be enacted which was pro-people.
