NEW YORK: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has reiterated Pakistan cooperation for establishment of peace in Afghanistan.
Qureshi met US Special envoy for Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad as the former is in New York to attend UN General Assembly session.
Qureshi said during the meeting Pakistan considers peace and stability in Afghanistan vital for its own enduring stability and development . He reiterated Pakistan support for ensuring peace in Afghanistan.
Zalmay Khalilzad said he is desirous for working together with Pakistan for peace and stability in Afghanistan.
US Principal deputy assistant secretary of state Alice Wells was also present on the occasion.
