Karachi: Former member of National Assembly and MQM leader Ali Raza Abidi has sent his resignation from the basic membership of the party to convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and also shared the picture of his resignation on social Media website twitter.
In his tweet Ali Raza Abidi said that he has tendered his resignation from basic membership of MQM-Pakistan on personal grounds.
However according to media reports he has resigned under desperation as he has been constantly ignored by MQM. His resignation also came fore from the NA and membership of the party on February 5 during the split between Bahadurabad and PIB. He remained in contact with the MQM and PIB group. Later on Farooq Sattar and Bahadurabad group came on one platform and Ali Raza Abidi too has again associated with MQM and Bahadurabad but he has not been respected as before.
Ali Raza Abidi also had contested election from NA 243 but he could not win. Following the vacation of NA 243 seat by Prime Minister Imran Khan, MQM has nominated Faisal Sabzbari for by- elections instead of Ali Raza Abidi which has added to his desperation and sense of deprivation and has decided to resign.
It is recalled that MQM Pakistan has been constantly ignoring the senior leader Farooq Sattar as he is not invited to attend the important meetings of MQM. Sources claim that Farooq Sattar too can make an important announcement.
