Islamabad: Chinese ambassador to Pakistan called on Federal minister for railways sheikh Rasheed on Friday.
During the meeting Chinese ambassador said that Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed is very popular personality even in China and Chinese people knew him for the last 20 years.
Matters of mutual interest also came under discussion during the meeting.
Talking on the occasion, Sheikh Rasheed said that Pakistan Railway is an important part of China CPEC and One-belt one –road projects adding Pakistan will seek help from China to pull out its railway from deficit.
Chinese Ambassador pledged to work together with Pakistan for betterment in Railways.
Both leaders exchanged gifts too on the occasion.
