Islamabad: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has said that salaried persons have to file their income tax return by August 31 (Friday).
As per media reports, the late date of submission of yearly income tax return for salaried persons has been set August 31 and it will not be extended.
Those salaried persons whose yearly income depends on salary only are bound to file their income tax return by themselves or through organizations till August 31.
While the salaried persons who have more sources of income through rent of shops and houses, dividends, shares or through any other sources are allowed to file their income tax return with other taxpayers on September 30, 2018.
