Islamabad:(Daily P.Times) Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Saturday moved application to elect Raja Zafarul Haq as leader of opposition in the Upper House, sources said on Saturday.
According the details, PML-N is not happy with the PPP decision to avid supporting PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif in the Lower House. Following the situation, opposition leaders will practically be divided in the Upper House. To remove Shern Rehman from the opposition leader post, the PML-N has taken first step. Earlier, PML-N had decided to elect Raja Zafarul Haq as leader of opposition. PML-N, JUI-F, PMAP and other party leaders’ signatures are inked on the application. A group of PML-N leaders submitted the application at the house of chairman senate on Saturday. Senate chairman who is on official visit will take decision on the application. He will be backed in the country on Monday.
