Islamabad:(Parliament Times) The APHC leader Altaf Bhat while condemning the Indian brutalities in occupied Kashmir has said that the people of Kashmir were fighting the war of completion of Pakistan.
Addressing a function organised by RIBJA in connection with Jeshan-e-Azadi and Kashmir at National Press Club Islamabad on Firday the APHC leader said that the burial of Kashmiri martyrs wrapped up in green flags amply demonstrate the Kashmiris’ unconditional love and affinity with Pakistan and its people. Bhat said that despite Indian oppression and suppression the educated Kashmiri youths have scripted the history of bravery, courage and resilience by challenging over half a million powerful Indian army deployed in every nook and cranny of the state. He expressed the hope that the day was not far when the people of Kashmir will achieve freedom from Indian occupation. He said that Kashmiris have been celebrating Pakistan’s independence day with national zest and zeal for past 70 years whereas India’s independence day is observed as a black day in Kashmir as a mark of protest against India’s forcible occupation. Extending his felicitations to the newly elected parliamentarians of Pakistan the APHC leader expressed the hope that the newly elected government will play a decisive role regarding the settlement of lingering Kashmir dispute besides exposing Indian brutalities at international level.
