Islamabad: The District Administration Islamabad has cut the wings of a specific group that was contesting in the election in order to get the favorable results in the election of Cooperative Housing Society. Islamabad administration on the behest chief commissioner turned into stumbling block in the Civilian Employees Cooperative Society election. The administration has been continuously influencing the results of all societies in a bid to earn illegal money through its blue eyed officer bearers of the housing societies.
According to the details, Chief Commissioner Islamabad has turned a deaf ear to the appeals filed before him to prevent the former president of civilian housing society Ansar Gondal and his accomplices from the election. United Group, the favorite of the administration is being patronized to enable it to succeed and subsequently pave way for the administration to act freely for vested interests.
According to the former president Ansar Goldal, he is about to sue Chief Election Commissioner against his biased and partial deportment. According to the details, district administration Islamabad has already made preparation for rigging in the election to elect the group of their choice.
The elections are going to be held on August 11 whereas chief election commissioner has charged him with baseless allegations, former president civilian employee’s cooperative society says. Former president further stressed that all the charges are unfounded and standing committee of senate has also categorically directed to reinvestigate the allegations leveled against him.
He stated that applications to inquire again into the matter are laying in the office of the chief commissioner since Apr 2018 but no orders have been passed intentionally to facilitate the united group . Ansar Gondal said the despite the facts we have put our candidate in the run but Chief Commissioner raised uncalled for objections. The commissioner objected to the candidature of General Secretary Hanif Laghari that nenbership of his attesting member is not of more than one year, whereas Hanif Laghari is a bonafide member since 2008.
He said that similar kinds of other minor objections have been brought up to impede him to contest society’s election. Former president Muhammad Ansar Gondal has stated that election commissioner Islamabad is tired to run one-way traffic and now we would bring this alarming matter in Islamabad High court. It was worth mentioned here that Islamabad District administration was facing serious allegations that it officers got number of costly plots on the names of their relatives after allegedly made succeeded their blue-eyed property groups in election of housing societies through rigging.
Number of applications had also filed against the corrupt offices in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in this regard. Sources stated that this was the third cooperative housing society in the current year, in which Islamabad District Administration become the party. Sources further stated that in its first attempt Islamabad District administration and Circle registrar office through its alleged corrupt practices and pre and post poll rigging had compelled former IG Islamabad Tahir Alam and his companions to gather with their voters. They had also leveled serious allegations on the administration.
In second case Islamabad District administration had made succeeded their blue-eyed persons in Jammu and Kashmir cooperative housing society.
Now it was fully active to exercise this ugly practice in civilian employees’ cooperative housing society. Sources stated that occupier unit of Islamabad Cooperative housing society had allegedly grabbed Rs 8 billion form common persons and escaped only because of the negligence and carelessness of Islamabad District administration. High-level investigation was also going on against them in National Assembly and Senate standing committees as well as in NAB and FIA.
